Background
I am a documentary photographer and multimedia storyteller from Córdoba, Spain, based between Brussels and Andalusia. My work explores the relationship between people, territory and environmental transformation, often focusing on overlooked landscapes, conflict, migration and social change.
I currently work as Video and Photography Manager at the International Crisis Group, where I lead and produce visual storytelling projects across different regions. Alongside this work, I develop long-term personal projects rooted in field research, slow observation and the ways landscapes shape human experience.
My photographic practice is especially interested in places where political, social or environmental tensions become visible in the landscape. Through photography, video and text, I look at how people inhabit changing territories, and how those territories, in turn, reshape memory, identity and everyday life.
